The challenges of infrastructure remain an overwhelming issue to bring scale and connectivity across the continent. It is estimated that nearly 600 million people in sub-Saharan Africa lack access to grid electricity, a statistic that if resolved could fast track the continent out of energy poverty in the near term. However, with a high percentage of project being deemed as aspirational and failing to progress past feasibility, how can the continent tap into global partnership to expand capacity.
