Africa is well placed as a leading player in the development of power via green hydrogen. The world is facing huge challenges to decarbonize and increasingly Africa is considering renewable hydrogen as a viable contributor to the worlds drive towards net zero. To fully achieve the ambition of zero carbon emissions we need to find solutions that will decarbonise current infrastructure and transport. Who is setting the pace around Green Hydrogen and what are the national roadmaps to success?

Impact Free–Water has developed a wave energy pump that uses wave energy to pressurise and pump seawater for the purposes of seawater desalination and electrical power production. Based on the client needs, the configuration of the implementation allows for a focus on fresh water, high volume sea water, or electricity. Once installed, the only input required is the sea itself, and other than for an annual service, or any shore-based value add services, there are no costs.
