Africa Scotland Business Network is an international business network of established, credible companies, mainly from Africa, Scotland and increasingly, the world. ASBN warmly welcomes businesses and individuals from other countries who have a real interest in doing business with Africa, Scotland, and / or companies in our network.
We enjoy multi-national members from Netherlands, Germany, USA and UAE. ASBN was born out of a need for a diverse, proactive and contemporary international business network built from Africa, for Africa and one that was internationalised further by bridging the network with Scotland. Our focus is connecting our African (and global) network with Scotland’s public and private sector, mainly through members and partners and vice versa. The network’s role is extended into facilitating business exchange for members in a global capacity with the increasing interest from businesses based outside our brands’ borders.
This is testament to our approach over proactive member management and our entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, Scotland and Africa have many shared economies including education, technology, training, agriculture, agri tech and oil and gas and renewable energy. Although the network is entirely independent and funded by memberships and trade deals, we work on commissioned events, projects and consulting basis to diversify and sustain the business of ASBN. As Africa’s potential gains more recognition in the global economy, ASBN is delighted to be playing a growing role in building bridges between the people and businesses of Africa and the world.
