Simon is a Director at Deloitte Africa with a highly diversified and eminent background in Risk Advisory and Sustainability. He is a Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) and Professional Natural Scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat.) and an active member of the National Risk Intelligence Committee, IRMSA. He has a Master’s degree (Cum Laude) in Environmental Management with over 22 years of inter-continental expertise spanning Africa, Europe, Middle-East, Far East and Australasia.

Simon’s current focus is on implementing ESG augmentation and resilience innovation to support clients achieve their Sustainability and ESG ambitions by connecting assets to strategy that are sustainable and make an impact that matters. Key areas of focus include Energy Transition - Clean Hydrogen, Solar PV, Wind (onshore/offshore), Nuclear and energy innovation to enable a sustainable future. Simon has grown and led risk advisory teams across Africa, Middle East and Australasia for an engineering major and led the Capital Project Delivery Offering for a Global Pure-Play Sustainability firm specialising in operationalising sustainability across EMEA. Simon is currently completing his PhD in Engineering Management, specifically in terms systems risk optimisation.
