Government & Ministries tickets are reserved for those who are currently employed or appointed by a government / governmental ministry or agency and can provide valid documentation confirming their employment at a government entity. Subject to review and approval.

Individuals employed or appointed by a government ministry or governmental agency
Investor tickets are reserved solely for professional investors. This typically includes individuals whose primary function is to invest funds into energy companies and projects and who may be employed in private equity, commodity trading, asset management, investment management, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital, private wealth management and family offices. Private investors/HNWIs who can provide evidence of at least US$1 million in liquid financial assets will also be offered complimentary tickets subject to their primary motivation for attending being for investment purposes. Subject to review and approval.
Professional investors whose primary function is to invest funds into energy companies and projects
Media passes are reserved solely for members of the media who have been pre-accredited for a Media pass. The pass includes full access to Green Energy Africa. Subject to review and approval.
Individuals who are active journalists with media accreditation
To purchase multiple Delegate tickets, complete this form. Discounted rates apply on bulk purchases of 3 or more tickets. Once you're approved, you will receive an email with payment instructions. After completing payment you can assign tickets.

Barcodes will be issued one week before the event if your ticket has been fully paid. At registration, present the barcode to collect your badge. Your badge provides access to the event or any permitted networking functions. Without it, entry will be refused.

Accredited members can apply to attend. If approved, badge collection barcodes are issued one week before the event. There is a dedicated press lounge, operated by our PR company including places to work, branded interview walls and a video recording booth.
Please email [email protected] to request a visa support letter. Please include the name of the delegate with their registration number. Letters will only be issued on receipt of payment.

GEA is held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC2) located on the corner of Heerengracht Street & Rua Bartholomeu Dias Plain.

Car parking: Please use P1 & P3 parking areas for a daily fee. Vehicles, taxis and Uber’s will not be able to stop outside CTICC2 and should use the designated lanes for drop off and pick up.
Cloakroom: This is available on the ground floor. Luggage will not be accepted and should be left with your hotel concierge. The organisers will not be held responsible for any items left in the cloakroom and you do so at your own risk.
Internet: Free Wi-Fi is available with instructions provided on arrival.
Students are welcome to join the event on Wednesday 12 October only. All student passes need to be verified in advance and can only be collected on the day. Please note that student passes are not valid for any of the evening networking functions.
