Energy Leaders Debate 1
The role of renewable energy resources in increasing access to modern energy services cannot be overemphasized. However, the fundamental question still remains ‘how can the African continent attain sustainability and increase access to modern energy services to the majority of its people?’. In this session, “Future energy leaders” bring new perspectives to the energy sector and will endeavour to explore the following themes:
- How can Africa seek and explore innovative solutions for more energy and climate neutrality in the context of affordability and equality?
- How can we fast track and deliver innovative projects in support of the global energy community?
- How can we harmonize national, regional and continental activities in order to bring about the desired change?
- Energy and Efficiency- How can we incorporate energy and efficiency in achieving our goal of universal access to clean energy?
