Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone (MMSEZ) is a State-Owned Company (SOC) established in terms of the SEZ Act to develop, manage and operate the SEZ, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Limpopo Economic Development Agency.
MMSEZ aims to achieve rapid industrialisation through the use of the SEZ as an investment promotion and an industrial policy tool and seeks to attract foreign and domestic investors in resource-based industries.
The green field investment platform consisting of two sites i.e. South and North sites, with clusters organised around the following industries;
• Energy and Metallurgy
• General Manufacturing
• Agro-Processing
• Logistics
MMSEZ offers distinctive domestic and global competitive advantage supported by investment related incentives, business-friendly environment with relief from customs and fiscal duties and its strategic location within the largest port of entry in the country, the Beitbridge Border Post in Musina.
MMSEZ will offer fully serviced sites with access to well established road and rail networks with links to key regional and global markets.
