The Banking Association South Africa (BASA) represents domestic and international banks licenced to operate in South Africa. Its mandate is to advance the interests of the banking industry with its regulators, legislators and broader stakeholder community, to make banking sustainable, profitable and better able to contribute to the social and economic development and transformation of the country.
